It's been a while!

What a journey I have been on! I just finished reading through How We Love by Milan and Kay Yerkovich for the first time. I need to go back through it again as I start the workbook. As I state in the opening of my blog, life is about growth. Growth isn't easy. This book has challenged me, hurt me, helped me, stretched me, and made me think. I have a long way to go, and while I know it won't be easy, I know it is a process that I need to go through. It reminds me of the verse that states,  "Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer." Proverbs 25:7 and Proverbs 27:21, "As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold;" What is the concept? Fire/heat to purge the impurities, to make the metal better! I just have to say that I am thankful for my friend who not only gave this book to me but who also encouraged me to read it while being there to talk about it when the way became dark and scary.
